The rink is located within Memorial City Mall on the west side next to California Pizza Kitchen. It opened in November 2003 as part of the mall's $300 million expansion and redevelopment.

A Zamboni ice resurfacer is an object of fascination for just about everybody. Children and adults line up to watch it in action... over and over again... and everyone wants to drive one! You can buy one year of Zamboni advertising for only $10,000. Two years for $15,000.

It is estimated that 14-15 million people per year come through Memorial City Mall, with an average month seeing about one million people, and the holidays double that. Many of those people visit our ice rink - if not to skate, then just to look. Or they might visit the-adjacent 60-foot tall stone fireplace and seating area to use the free wifi internet access, or just take a break. The Mall is growing and adding more attractions every day.

The Mall has 150 stores including Macy's, Dillard's, JCPenney, Target and Sears. Specialty stores include range from Abercrombie to Z Gallerie. The brand new Cinemark 16, a 16-screen all-stadium seating theater featuring online ticketing, digital sound and wall-to-wall screens is now open.
Success at Memorial City Mall has also led to explosive growth for the surrounding area with plans for an urban mixed-use development in the works.
